The 2025 season in METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga has already gone down in history. Its best athlete in terms of running point average turned out to be Janusz Kołodziej, who is also at the top of the ranking for the number of points scored. Who else scored the most in this season besides him?
- In 2025, in METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, thirty riders scored over one hundred points throughout the entire season.
- Among them were three athletes under the age of 21 – Nazar Parnitskyi, Radosław Kowalski, and Mikkel Andersen.
- In the clash of team leaders, Frederik Jakobsen from MOONFIN MALESA Ostrowa Wlkp. performed the worst. The Dane recorded 122 points.

In the 2025 season, in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga competition, Janusz Kołodziej scored the most points for his team FOGO UNIA Leszno across all eighteen matches, gathering as many as 189 points. This accounts for almost 20% of the team’s total points (958). Kołodziej needed only 81 runs to achieve this result, while sixteen other athletes had more races to their credit.
Right after the athlete from Leszno in the ranking of the most points scored are three riders. One of them is Ryan Douglas. The Australian participated in sixteen competitions last season for his HUNTERS PSŻ Poznań, bringing a total of 179 “points,” making him the best foreign player in this regard in METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga. Douglas was also a clear leader of his team. His advantage over the second Bartosz Smektała is 51 points.
Alongside Douglas with the same result in this ranking are Szymon Woźniak and Grzegorz Zengota. The former, after years spent in the PGE Ekstraliga, decided to leave the top league and eventually led his ABRAMCZYK POLONIA, being its best player, all the way to the league final. Woźniak needed 87 heats to collect his 179 points. A little more, because 92 races were needed by Grzegorz Zengota to accumulate this many “points.” It was the best season in his league performances in Poland.
In the ranking considered, riders from FOGO UNIA Leszno and ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz dominate. The fourth-highest appearing club, apart from the aforementioned HUNTERS PSŻ Poznań, is TEXOM STAL Rzeszów, whose colors were most effectively defended this season by Paweł Przedpełski, scoring 173 points. In the top ten of this classification, there was also room for a representative of H.SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ Łódź – Robert Chmiel and CELLFAST WILKI Krosno – Tobiasz Musielak. In 2025, Chmiel brought a total of 160 points to the finish line, and Musielak 155.
