The Speedway Ekstraliga mobile app has become one of the most popular sports apps of the 2025 season. From January to October, it recorded as many as 183 thousand active users.
– We have gathered a very large group of genuine speedway fans for whom our app has become the primary source of information about matches, as well as a place to follow results and analyze statistics – explains Przemysław Szymkowiak, Director of Media and PR at PGE Ekstraliga. – The loyalty of the fans is encouraging because we see that out of the total 188 thousand users of the EkstraligaApp, as many as 183 thousand are active, compared to 175 thousand last year. – he adds.
The calendar of speedway events turned out to be a real hit within the app’s functionalities. The text broadcasts of the matches were also among the most frequently visited subpages of the app, which also heavily focused on current news and video materials.
– Eliga Manager generates so much excitement every year that we decided to add new features to our manager game in the 2026 campaign – explains Przemysław Szymkowiak. – I can already reveal that we want to enhance the game with the ability to create separate competitions, where players will form teams for a given round of the PGE Ekstraligi and Metalkas 2. Ekstraligi, but without calculating the riders’ KSM, only within the points and bonuses they earn on the track. We also plan to introduce challenges in the game, such as building a team based solely on Polish riders without age restrictions. It’s important to highlight that these will be separate games within the current Eliga Manager formula, as we want it to be easy and quick to join the competition during the season. Of course, the full-season classification with KSM and rules that applied in previous seasons will continue – concludes Przemysław Szymkowiak.

Tipster, where EkstraligaApp users indicate match results, the best players, winners in specific player pairings in terms of point gains, or players with the best time of the day before each round – all of this constitutes another key functionality that defines the app’s strength and will be continued in 2026.
Telemetry, covering not only times and distances but also overtakes in matches and the speeds of players, along with rich team statistics – all of this has been highly appreciated by fans. In app store rankings, the Ekstraligi bestseller received as many as 4.5 stars in Google Play and 4.3 in the App Store.
