In the 18th round of the PGE Ekstraliga, GEZET STAL Gorzów hosted INNPRO ROW Rybnik. The match determined the team to be relegated and the team that will fight to remain among the country’s best in the playoff match against ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz.
- GEZET STAL Gorzów defeated INNPRO ROW Rybnik in a head-to-head match for staying in the PGE Ekstraliga. The team from Gorzów ended the match with a result of 54:36. In the first match between the two teams, the team from Gorzów was also victorious, defeating the team from Rybnik on their track 47:43.
- Piotr Żyto did not hide his sadness after the relegation from the PGE Ekstraliga: How can one feel after such matches? It’s natural to be devastated and disheartened, so we must cool down and then attack METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, although we are just finishing this season, so there will be time for further steps – said the Sharks’ coach.
- After yesterday’s training, everyone was satisfied with the equipment and the form, which translated into the team’s performance in the match. Adam Bednar and Mikołaj Krok got more chances, but we will see if they get opportunities to ride in the playoff matches.
