The first round of this year’s cycle for the Individual Polish Championship title will take place at the Toruń Motoarena. 16 riders will participate in the competition. The event is scheduled to start at 7:05 PM. Broadcast on CANAL+ Sport 5 and the CANAL+ streaming service.

Last year’s Individual Polish Championships cycle, which took place on tracks in Łódź, Bydgoszcz, and Lublin, turned out to be very exciting, with the title being decided only in the last round. Ultimately, Maciej Janowski emerged as the best, securing his third gold medal in competitions of this rank. Close behind were Patryk Dudek and Bartosz Zmarzlik.
Bartosz Zmarzlik is the favorite to win Thursday’s competition. The five-time world champion is confirming his dominance in both the PGE Ekstraliga and the FIM Speedway Grand Prix cycle. Patryk Dudek also has good chances of winning, having had an excellent season and performing very well at the Toruń Motoarena.
The group of riders expected to be in contention for victory includes Piotr and Przemysław Pawlicki. Both riders are in excellent form this season. Attention should also be paid to Paweł Przedpełski, who is very familiar with the Toruń track. However, the form of the title defender, Maciej Janowski, is uncertain. The captain of BETARD SPARTY Wrocław is having an inconsistent year, alternating good performances with weaker ones.
The remaining rounds of the Individual Polish Championships will take place on July 19 in Ostrów Wlkp. and August 15 in Częstochowa.
