In the 16th round of the PGE Ekstraliga, ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin hosted BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz. After the first match, Lublin was closer to winning the aggregate match, starting this meeting with a four-point advantage.

- Jacek Ziółkowski appreciated the class of the opponent: As in Grudziądz, it wasn’t an easy match for us either, because up to the 10th heat, the match was tight. Fortunately, towards the end, we managed to pull away and secure a favorable result for our team. The guests got their equipment settings right, which shows we have things to work on before the finals – said the Koziołek’s manager.
- We showed the lion’s claw, and I’m satisfied with the whole team’s performance. It’s a pity that we didn’t get a slightly better result in the first match on our own track. We lost nicely, but expensively, and now we’re waiting for the opponent to then thoroughly prepare for the bronze medal match – Robert Kościecha after the competition at Aleje Zygmuntowskie in Lublin.
