In the first final match in the PGE Ekstraliga, PRES Toruń hosted ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin.
- In the first final match at the Toruń Motoarena, the local PRES Toruń defeated ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin 54:36, putting them in a favorable position before the rematch on the Lublin oval.
- Extremely boosted by the Sunday victory with a full house at the home Motoarena was Antoni Kawczyński: After the fall I feel quite good and should be fully fit in a week. The lead we have before the rematch is quite large, but we are going to a strong rival’s ground, not on a trip. The goal is one – fighting for gold. I don’t feel like a hero because the whole team scored points and we worked together for a good result – said the PRES Toruń junior.
- After the first race it wasn’t bad, but later Wiktor Przyjemski didn’t feel up to continuing the competition. We have two solid training sessions ahead, which I hope the weather will allow. We are gearing up for a tough fight – Jacek Ziółkowski on the final confrontation.
