The first of the final matches of the training league went in favor of the Wrocław team, who defeated the local AVO KS Toruń 49:40 at Motoarena. The start of the return match at the Olympic Stadium is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
We are approaching the last league match in the U24 Ekstraliga. The first of the concluding clashes, held last week, ended 49:40 in favor of Dariusz Śledź’s team. In the Tuesday rematch, both teams will fight for gold at the stadium in Wrocław. The local U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA will enter the match with their usual strong lineup. Similarly, the team from Toruń will appear with Bastian Pedersen, who recently participated in the last SGP2 in Vojens as a wildcard.
Last week’s clash at Motoarena started with a strong opening by the guests from U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA, who immediately secured a double victory. However, the hosts quickly recovered in the next race. The intense track battle led to an eight-point lead for Wrocław after the second series of starts. In two of the next three heats, the visitors triumphed again, but AVO KS Toruń continued to fight for a good result in the match.
Before the nominated races, the advantage of U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA was seven points. Ultimately, the competition ended with a victory for Dariusz Śledź’s team, who are now just one step away from defending the cup in the training league. Tuesday’s rematch promises to be extremely interesting.
