We have the 91st Przegląd Sportowy Poll ahead of us, selecting the sportsman of the year 2025. The winner will be announced on Saturday, January 10 at the ceremonial Sports Champions Gala, and among the nominees is Bartosz Zmarzlik – a speedway rider for ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin, who became the Individual World Champion for the sixth time last season.

For Bartosz Zmarzlik this is already his tenth nomination in the Przegląd Sportowy Poll in his career. The speedway rider first received the prestigious trophy in 2017, with his greatest success coming three years later. In the voting by fans from all over Poland, he confidently defeated Robert Lewandowski and so far, it was the only time he won the entire Poll. Since then, Zmarzlik annually ranks in the top five best athletes in the country.

This year’s Sports Champions Gala, held at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw, will present ten out of twenty-five nominated athletes who received the highest number of votes in the first stage of voting. Votes could be cast via SMS, paper coupons, and online. Online and SMS voting will close on January 9 at 12:00. SMS voting will be resumed when the Gala broadcast starts, on January 10 at 20:30. This will be the only and last way to support your favorites in the Poll.
