First tournament battles on tracks in Poland (announcement of the 51st Memorial of Idzikowski and Czerny)

March 29, at the track on Olsztyńska Street in Częstochowa, the 51st Memorial of Bronisław Idzikowski and Marek Czerny will take place. The beginning of the competition is scheduled for 2:00 PM.

• The tournament will start at 2:00 PM.
• There has been a change in the lineup – Lahti will replace Zagar.
• The last edition was won by Jason Doyle, and everything was decided by… a draw.

Among the contenders for the title will be as many as ten representatives of the PGE Ekstraliga. Fans visiting the Krono-Plast Arena in Częstochowa on that day will be able to admire in action, among others, Fredrik Lindgren, Dominik Kubera, Kacper Woryna, and Jason Doyle.

The latter won last year’s edition of the tournament. The competition was concluded after the 12th race due to worsening weather conditions. Both Bartosz Zmarzlik and the Australian had 8 points each. The victory was decided by a draw, which was fortunate for the new member of the Częstochowa club. Third was Leon Madsen.

The tournament will be an ideal opportunity for a proper start to the season. The PGE Ekstraliga campaign starts in less than two weeks, so it’s almost the last moment for intensifying preparations. Furthermore, the Memorial of Bronisław Idzikowski and Marek Czerny is an extremely prestigious event. In the past, winners have included Edward Jancarz, Marek Cieślak, Sławomir Drabik and the aforementioned Jason Doyle.
