In the 18th round of the PGE Ekstraliga, the issue of distributing the most valuable medals of the Polish Team Championships was decided. PRES Toruń, after three years of the Lublin ORLEN OIL MOTOR’s hegemony, dethroned Maciej Kuciapa’s team.
- Despite winning against PRES Toruń 52:38, ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin had to settle for the runner-up title in the PGE Ekstraliga, because the Angels defended their lead from the first match on their own track, where they won 54:36.
- Individual European Champion Patryk Dudek is having an outstanding season: It was definitely a good season that is still ongoing, so we keep fighting. It was nice to feel the thrill of the final, but I had a gut feeling that everything would be okay and I was calm about the result, despite not being initially satisfied with the performance of both bikes – said the Pole in the CANAL+ mix zone.
- Everyone dreams of gold, but I believe we should also rejoice in more than just gold medals. We tried very hard and even though we lost, we showed great speedway. I wish everyone such moments because these are exceptional days for me – Bartosz Zmarzlik after winning the silver medal in the PGE Ekstraliga.
