We have learned the allocation of national teams to the semi-finals of the Team World Cup in speedway. The first semi-final will take place on May 1 in Landshut, Germany, while the second elimination event, to be held in Riga, Latvia, will fall on August 7.
The first FIM Speedway World Cup semi-final in Landshut will take place on May 1, 2026, the day before the Speedway Grand Prix series. The hosts, Germany, will face the FIM Speedway of Nations World Champions from 2021 and 2024 – Great Britain, as well as the Czech Republic and the debuting Ukraine.

In the second SWC semi-final match, scheduled for August 7 in Riga, in addition to the hosts – the Latvian team will face Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. The latter will debut in the tournament of this format. Similar to the first semi-final in Bavarian Landshut, the events at the modernized Bikerniki stadium in Riga will also precede the Speedway Grand Prix tournament.

Semi-final 1 – Landshut – Friday, May 1: Germany, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Ukraine.
Semi-final 2 – Riga – Friday, August 7: Latvia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden.
Final – Warsaw – Saturday, August 29: Poland, Australia, winner of semi-final 1, winner of semi-final 2.
