For the latter, this is a return after a two-season break.

Our interviewee expresses happiness about donning the leathers once again. – I am very happy to return to Częstochowa. This is a special place for me, with a lot of good memories. I feel positive emotions and great motivation. Returning here is an important stage in my career, and I believe it will be a good time for both me and the club – says Miśkowiak.
The racer admits that in Częstochowa, he feels almost at home, having represented the white-green colors from 2019 to 2023. – Definitely yes. I spent five very important seasons here, entering adult speedway practically from the start of my career. I know the club, the stadium, the city, and the fans. All this makes me feel comfortable and natural here – he continues.

Throughout his journey with Włókniarz, the nearly 25-year-old experienced many wonderful moments. With the „Lions,” he celebrated winning two bronze medals in the Polish Team Championships (2019 and 2022). He achieved many successes in various competitions, both domestically and internationally. Among these achievements was the gold in the Individual Junior World Championships, won in 2021. – The years spent in Częstochowa were definitely among the most important. It was here that I gained my first serious experiences in the PGE Ekstraliga, developed both sportingly and mentally, and achieved team and individual successes. These seasons taught me a lot and provided solid foundations for my future career – he adds.
Then came a break with the Częstochowa club. The former junior dominator successively raced for EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów (2024) and BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz (2025). How does he recall those times? – It was a valuable period. Both at Stal Gorzów and GKM Grudziądz, I had the opportunity to view speedway from a different perspective, discover new environments, and learn new working methods. I believe these experiences helped me develop and mature as a rider. – he explains.

Now Jakub Miśkowiak – with greater acquired experience – returns to the „old grounds” and intends to fight for further achievements and increasingly higher results. Speed fans in the city – considering the current team situation – expect the native of Rawicz to be a strong link for KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ, especially in matches held at the stadium on Olsztyńska Street. – I realize this and take it as a challenge, not pressure. I have always ridden well in Częstochowa and even as a rider of other teams, I could score points here. Now I want to do it again in the white-green colors – adds the rider, who last season with Grudziądz’s BAYERSYSTEM GKM was also able to secure solid point hauls away from home. – That’s true, and I’m very pleased about it. I’ve always cared about being a versatile rider. The score in Rybnik (11 points with a bonus) or other good performances on foreign tracks show that I’m heading in the right direction – he points out.
Jakub showed that he hasn’t forgotten how to race on the Częstochowa oval, as evidenced by the last final round of the 2025 Individual Polish Championships. – Yes, that tournament was important for me. Seventh place and my best performance in the entire cycle gave me a lot of confidence. I showed myself that I can compete effectively on this track, which is a good prognostic for the future – he recalls.

Due to his strong knowledge of the Częstochowa track, the former under-21 world champion hopes to finally showcase the full extent of his speedway capabilities. – I will try. I know this track like the back of my hand, I know how it reacts to weather changes and surface conditions. If everything fits well equipment-wise and health-wise, I believe I can demonstrate really solid speedway here – he announces.
The assembled squad of KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ for the upcoming season may not give much hope. The majority of experts point to the team as the sure candidate for relegation from the PGE Ekstraliga. However, in Częstochowa, they believe in a positive surprise from the team led by Mariusz Staszewski. Jakub Miśkowiak emphasizes this himself. – I think it’s an interesting and ambitious team. We know the predictions of the experts, but speedway has shown many times that paper doesn’t drive. The key will be teamwork, atmosphere, and consistent hard work. I believe we can positively surprise – he asserts.
Miśkowiak has already had the opportunity to race alongside one of the players from Częstochowa’s current roster. This concerns Jaimon Lidsey, which happened in 2025 when the Australian, in Poland’s top league, like our interviewee, scored points for BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz. What does the Pole think of his old-new club colleague? – He is a professional, a solid rider, and a nice person. We got along well in Grudziądz and I think that this friendship will also pay off in Częstochowa – he replies.

As it turns out, the club’s graduate from Wschowa has already established contact with the other team members as well and revealed a bit about the prevailing atmosphere. – We have already had our first conversations. The atmosphere is good, everyone approaches the topic very professionally. I think we will quickly form a cohesive team – he admitted.
The rider is certainly aware of the role he is to play in KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ in this year’s league challenges. Therefore, he is heavily focused on preparing for the 2026 season. – The preparation period has already begun. I am working on motor skills, strength, and endurance, and I am also taking care of recovery. The preparations are intense, but they have to be because we have a demanding season ahead. I am motivated and ready for hard work – concluded Jakub Miśkowiak.
