Marcin Murawski – president of BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz summarized the year 2025 in the PGE Ekstraliga and gave a hint about the club’s current activities:
– We are satisfied with the past season because the goal we set, which was to advance to the top four of the PGE Ekstraliga, was achieved, although there is some dissatisfaction related to the semifinal match against the very strong team BETARD SPARTA Wrocław. However, we do not hold anyone responsible for the lack of a medal – said the head of the Gołębi.
The latest acquisition of the Grudziądz club is the talented Australian – Beau Bailey, who could become a strong point of Robert Kościecha’s team in the future:
– Beau was brought to Grudziądz with the future in mind and his main task is to get experience in the U24 Ekstraliga, although we do not rule out the possibility of him making it to the main squad in the PGE Ekstraliga. The contract is for two years, and I hope that living in Grudziądz will facilitate his development – assessed the new transfer president of BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz.
