Although the weather doesn’t indicate it, the speedway season is fast approaching. Last week, speedway riders not only traveled and spent time with their families, but also trained and learned about the first dates for sparring matches. The countdown to the start of the PGE Ekstraliga has also begun.
Despite a few weeks left until the season starts, some speedway riders can’t wait to ride their motorcycles, so they are looking for alternatives to the Ekstraliga tracks, which are currently covered with snow and ice. Bartosz Zmarzlik, the Individual World Champion, opted for an interesting solution by riding a slightly different machine than usual.
Max Fricke decided on a somewhat more peaceful preseason period. The BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz rider shared images from his trip to Japan, as well as photos depicting family time.

Recently, there were also opportunities for celebrations. We celebrated not only Grandma’s Day and Grandpa’s Day but also birthdays of important figures in the sport.
