Robert Kościecha – the current coach of BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz participated in an interview conducted on the official YouTube channel – GKMTV. The coach of the Doves summarized last season and talked about plans for 2026.
The team BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz finished the 2025 PGE Ekstraliga competition in 4th place, thus fully achieving the pre-season sports goals. Despite the slight disappointment from the lack of a medal from the final outcomes, Robert Kościecha is satisfied:
– I think there were some decisions in the season that I would change in hindsight, but I will learn from this. I am pleased with the progress of the young players, to which more will join next year – summarized the coach of BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz.
New faces have joined the team from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, including Maksym Drabik and Bastian Pedersen, who is expected to play as a U24 player:
– Fans might have been surprised by the news of Bastian Pedersen joining us, but I am very happy about the completion of this transfer. I am also in constant contact with Beau Bailey and view this transfer very positively as well, although it’s hard to say whether he will go straight into the first lineup, and I certainly won’t put too much pressure on him. Fortunately, I have the option of rotating the squad and time will tell, how the starting lineup for the PGE Ekstraliga matches will look – added the coach of the Doves.
