On Monday and Tuesday, we rode the next matches of the U24 Ekstraliga. On the first day, in a rescheduled clash, FALUBAZ from Zielona Góra faced AVO KS Toruń. On Tuesday, the team from Wrocław visited W69. Besides that, matches also took place on tracks in Lublin, Rybnik, and Częstochowa.

On Monday afternoon, the teams from Zielona Góra and Toruń faced each other.
The event started with a tie, but in the following races, the better performance on the track was demonstrated by the protégés of Piotr Baron. Zielona Góra’s young riders didn’t give up on the fight for points so easily, several times bringing the match to a tie. Thanks to good point scores from Antoni Kawczyński (13), Krzysztof Lewandowski (11), and Nicolai Heiselberg (10+1), AVO KS Toruń secured victory in the match, winning it 49:41 and thus claiming the full set of points.

Tuesday’s racing began with events in Lublin, where the local MOTOR clashed with PERŁOWA PRZYSTAŃ STAL Gorzów, winning 59:31.
The event began with a victory for the protégés of Maciej Kuciapa, who controlled the match throughout the first series of starts. In the replay of race 6, Gorzów won, but as it turned out, it was their only win of the day. Among the young riders of MOTOR Lublin, the best performers were Bartosz Bańbor (13) and Krzysztof Sadurski (13+2). In the team of PERŁOWA PRZYSTAŃ STAL Gorzów, the highest scorer was Adam Bednar with 12 points. In the two-match series, the hosts proved better, adding three additional points to their standings after the match.

GRUPA METROCARS ROW took on AVO KS Toruń on their own oval, who were deemed the favorites for this match. However, it turned out that at the Municipal Stadium in Rybnik, the home team performed better, winning the clash 53:37. The bonus point, however, went to Toruń (96:84 over the two matches).
The meeting started under the control of Rybnik. After achieving a several-point lead, the subsequent races ended in a draw. Race 11 was the only one of the day won by the guests. Finally, for GRUPA METROCARS ROW, the top performers on the track were Radosław Kowalski (11), Kacper Pludra (11+1), and Paweł Trześniewski (10+1). In the team of AVO KS Toruń, the most effective were Antoni Kawczyński (12) and Nicolai Heiselberg (12).

After a fierce battle, the team of IMPAKT WŁÓKNIARZ Częstochowa had to acknowledge the superiority of the protégés of Rafał Okoniewski. POLCOPPER AGROMIX UNIA Leszno triumphed in the match 46:43, securing the full set of points.
Both teams performed very well on the track, providing fans with good racing from the start. The event began with a win for Leszno, quickly countered by the hosts. The competition remained very tight throughout, with a pivotal moment occurring in race 10, where POLCOPPER AGROMIX UNIA regained the lead, maintaining it to the end. Among the young riders of IMPAKT WŁÓKNIARZ, the top scorer was Wiktor Lampart (13). On the visitors’ side, the most effective was Antoni Mencel (13).

After Monday’s defeat of FALUBAZ, it was time for a clash with U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA Wrocław. This ended with a score of 54:36 in favor of the guests, who added 3 points to the table.
The meeting began with a tie, but soon after, the home team showed dominance on the track, winning each subsequent race by doubles. The team of FALUBAZ Zielona Góra once again had to acknowledge the superiority of their rivals, thereby losing valuable points in the standings. Let us recall that the protégés of Piotr Protasiewicz were at the top two matches ago. Now, with 19 points, they are outside the final two, falling behind MOTOR Lublin by just one point.
The standout performers in Tuesday’s clash were Michał Curzytek (10) and Francis Gusts (13+1).
