The opening match in Częstochowa between KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ and BAYERSYSTEM GKM Grudziądz was initially scheduled for Friday, April 11, but due to unfavorable weather forecasts, it was postponed to the next day at the request of the organizer.

From the start, the guests from Grudziądz set their pace and the team under Robert Kościecha controlled the course of the match. After eight races, Grudziądz led by twelve points.
The home coach, Mariusz Staszewski, tried to patch the lineup with tactical reserves, which, however, did not bring the desired results. Although the Częstochowa team managed to recover some points, it was already clear before the nominated heats that Grudziądz would not lose this match.
Returning to Częstochowa after several years, Jason Doyle performed excellently, as did the outstanding performer from the start of this season, Michael Jepsen Jensen. Both riders were the driving forces of their teams. Especially the Dane, who, even after a poor start, had no equals.

In the first nominated race, Grudziądz confirmed their dominance and sealed the victory in the match with a double win in this race. The final race ended in a draw, with Jepsen Jensen confirming his excellent form.
