The Włókniarz Częstochowa Club has been actively involved in charitable activities on many levels for many years. – We are aware of how important support and helping another person are, which is why we do not hesitate for a moment to participate in, and often initiate, actions aimed at providing help – the club stated in a message.
This year, a special series called “Włókniarz Charity” was organized. The aim of the activities is direct assistance, but also to encourage other people and institutions to support entities in difficult situations, institutions, animal shelters, and many, many others. The mentioned series “Włókniarz Charity” was initiated with the October fundraiser for our compatriots living in the Borderlands. The action, mainly organized by the Patriot Society of the Borderlands in Częstochowa, ended successfully.
– Once again, we express our heartfelt thanks to all those who supported the fundraiser and thus contributed to the ‘Santa on the Borderlands’ action. More informationon the website – informed KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ.
The Borderlands is a region that in the interwar period and earlier constituted the eastern frontier of Poland, now located in the territories of Ukraine, Lithuania, and Belarus. Many Poles live there daily, who for generations have maintained patriotism and attachment to Polish nationality. In recent days, the club participated in an organized trip to Vilnius and surrounding towns, where gifts were distributed to Polish children living in the Borderlands, and many meetings with the local community, who did not hide their joy at our visit, were attended. The patriotism and attachment to Poland that emanates from the community residing in this region are admirable.
– Thanks to visits to such places, where we have the opportunity to meet compatriots directly, we feel pride in being part of the Polish nation, as well as the fact that we can participate in helping and see the joy in the eyes of children and adults with our own eyes – added the club.
