We have passed the first stage of the quarterfinal matches in the PGE Ekstraliga. It was a weekend full of emotions and good racing. During these meetings, there were also remarkable performances by the youngest competitors, who compete both for points on the track and for a position in the Red Bull Junior Aces ranking.
The first quarterfinal match was held in Zielona Góra, where the local team faced the current Polish Team Champion – ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin. The meeting ended in a decisive victory for the visitors 54:35. Wiktor Przyjemski was chosen as the Junior of the Match, having a major impact on the outcome of this match by scoring 11 points and a bonus.
The second match of the day was between BETARD SPARTA Wrocław and ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz. The competition ended with a victory for the hosts 50:40. Jakub Krawczyk was chosen as the Junior of the Match by fans’ votes. The local team’s junior scored 8 points.
On Sunday, a match between KS APATOR Toruń and EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów took place. The visiting team won this match with a score of 48:42. During this meeting, Krzysztof Lewandowski was chosen as the Junior of the Match. The junior from Toruń scored 5 points.
