Speedway fans couldn’t complain about a lack of excitement on Sunday evening. GEZET STAL Gorzów, after an incredibly close and fierce match, drew with the team PRES GRUPA DEWELOPERSKA Toruń 45:45. It was a match that kept the tension until the last race.

One of the heroes was the captain of Gorzów, Martin Vaculik, who scored 2 points in the 14th race and collected a total of 9 points in the whole match. – Fortunately, we managed to save this valuable draw. Kudos to the whole team, especially to Anders Thomsen, who scored the most points for our team – said Vaculik after the match. The Slovak did not hide that he does not yet feel fully comfortable but sees progress and good teamwork. – As for my performance – I feel that something is still missing. I talk a lot with my mechanics, we draw conclusions, and I’m close. For me, the beginnings of the season are always difficult, but I believe that we are on the right track, and the next match will be even better – he emphasized.
Equipment decisions also mattered. – I changed the motorcycle for the last race, I wanted to try something. This change turned out to be for the better – explained the captain of GEZET STALI Gorzów. Vaculik also stressed the excellent atmosphere in the team. – During the match, we talked a lot with the guys from the team – we act like one big family. The insights from my colleagues gave me a lot. I’m happy with this result. We managed to secure a valuable point. As we all know – the team from Toruń is very strong. We showed that we are capable of a good result – concluded the Slovak.
In the colors of PRES GRUPA DEWELOPERSKA Toruń, Patryk Dudek had a very solid performance, finishing the match with 10 points and a bonus. Although the start was tough, he later showed his class. – Maybe those ones at the beginning were not good, but in the end, I scored 10+1 for the team. Then I adapted better to the conditions and started winning heats – Dudek admitted. As he said, the Gorzów track was not easy to read. – Honestly speaking – the track surprised me a bit. Last year, we raced here four times, and each time it was different. This time the surface seemed harder, but it was grippier from the start – stated the speedway rider from PRES GRUPA DEWELOPERSKA Toruń. Fortunately, it was possible to find the right settings. – Together with the team, we worked a lot, and I’m glad that after those first two heats, we were able to find something and improve. It paid off – announced Patryk Dudek.
