Winners of the Red Bull Junior Aces program, Mateusz Cierniak and Wiktor Przyjemski, have signed athletic contracts with Red Bull. They will share their experiences related to the program and further career development on redbull.pl.
In the 2025 season at PGE Ekstraliga, the 3rd edition of the Red Bull Junior Aces program took place, co-created by the Red Bull brand and Speedway Ekstraliga. The goal was to support young Polish riders competing in the best speedway league in the world. One of the rewards of the program is a stay at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre, which takes place every year.
At the center in Austria, Mateusz Cierniak and Wiktor Przyjemski – winners of previous editions of the program have already held, and will do more training before the 2026 season. Also present there were Oskar Paluch and Bartłomiej Kowalski.
For the athletes, this is a huge opportunity for sports development and image progress, also in the field of marketing. The winners of the Red Bull Junior Aces program have just signed athletic contracts with Red Bull.
– Bydgoszcz in speedway is not just any city on the map of Poland. It’s a speedway mecca. Polonia, history, medals, Tomasz Gollob – you hear it all the time. I definitely feel how important it is for everyone to return to PGE Ekstraliga. I really want to help with this, and promotion is an obvious goal. In each race, I try to leave my heart on the track, but riding for Bydgoszcz is special – says Wiktor Przyjemski about his plans for the upcoming season, which he will spend in Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga.

Let us remind you that Wiktor Przyjemski won the Red Bull Junior Aces in 2025, gathering 46 points in junior races in PGE Ekstraliga, although he didn’t participate in all matches due to injury.
The current athlete of ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz, and a representative of ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin in past years, also dominated the program in 2024, securing 53 points in 2 PGE Ekstraliga matches!
The rules of the Red Bull Junior Aces action have been inspiring over the past three seasons – only points earned in the 2nd race of each PGE Ekstraliga match counted.
The journey from the Ekstraliga program to joining the elite group of Red Bull athletes can be longer, as shown by the results of Mateusz Cierniak. The speedway rider of ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin won the program in 2023, gathering 54 points.
Mateusz Cierniak talks about a breakthrough period in his career: – It was a series of events from the end of the 2018 season. In Kraków, day after day, I won two Junior Backup Staff tournaments, and the next day in Gorzów, I won the Junior Polish Team Championship with Unia Tarnów. We were the youngest team – I hadn’t even turned 16 yet, similar to Dawid Rempała. There were colleagues aged 19-20, with experience in PGE Ekstraliga and 1st League! Within three days, I stood on the highest podium three times. Shortly thereafter, I added a full score in the league. This string of positive events made me realize that if I try hard and dedicate myself fully to sports, I can achieve quite a lot.
